The Clarksville Police Department Supports Warming Station for the Community During Cold
Weather

The Clarksville Police Department is pleased to announce the opening of a warming stations at
the following locations –
The Johnson County Detention Center301 Porter Industrial Road.
The lobby is open 24/7.
Safe Haven Ministries – Please call 479-705-0118 and leave a message.
A staff member will return your call to make arrangements.
Safe Haven will provide a warming shelter from Tuesday, February 18, 2025, through Sunday,
February 23, 2025 or as long as the temperature is below 27 degrees.
The purpose of warming shelters is to provide a safe and comfortable space for community
members seeking relief from the current cold weather conditions.
Who Can Access the Warming Station:

• Individuals experiencing homelessness
• Those without adequate heating in their homes
• Seniors and people with disabilities who may be particularly vulnerable to cold weather
