Food Preservation Workshops
The Franklin County Cooperative Extension Service is offering two food preservation workshops this summer. Both workshops will be held at the Franklin County Extension Office at 300 Airport Road in Ozark.
A Fruit Topping & Pie Filling Canning Workshop for youth and adults ages eight and older will be held on Monday, July 13th at 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. The participants will learn how to make and can fruit toppings and pie filling. The cost is $20.00 a participant and the participants will take home a pint jar of fruit topping and a quart jar of pie filling. Spots are limited so pre-register by calling the Franklin County Extension Office at 479-667-3720 by July 6th.
