Mulberry residents along with other Arkansas communities will step up to serve as volunteers on the annual Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday. Local community volunteers will accept donations of shelf stable food items and  hygiene products on Saturday, January 14th. Local citizens, organizations, church groups, etc. are encouraged to be a part of this great event. Collected items can be dropped off between the 9:00 am and 5:00 pm in the parking lot at the intersection of Hwy 64 & Hwy 215 in Mulberry. Following the collection on Saturday, the community will install a 2nd mini food pantry in celebration of MLK Day. All products collected will be used to stock free pantries in town.
