Stabbing Suspect Surrender's
12-05-11 06:33

A man wanted for stabbing his step daughter's boyfriend turned himself in to Franklin County authorities Friday night. Sheriff Anthony Boen tells KDYN that his department was contacted by Dylan Nash Friday saying that he wanted to talk with Sgt. Brent Scott. Nash told Scott he would meet him at a church on near Wandering Way and would turn himself in at 7pm. Scott was at the location at the designated time and Nash walked from the woods to the Sgt. Scott's unit and turned himself in without incident. Nash is facing charges of Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Assault on a Family Member and Battery 2nd Degree. Nash remains in custody with a bond hearing pending along with formal charges.

As we reported here on KDYN last week, Nash allegedly stabbed and shot at his step-daughters 21 year old boyfriend Kyle Perry. Perry said a fight began after Nash came to the step-daughters home and began screaming at her, he then punched her in the face and she punched him back. That is when Perry got involved and was stabbed by Nash with a pocket knife several times in the head. Perry ran out the front door as Nash fired several shots at him, none of which hit Perry. Perry was treated and released from the hospital in Ozark. During the events, Nash's step-daughter call 911 and authorities arrived on the scene. The home was surrounded as it was believed that Nash was still inside, but it was later learned that he had escaped on foot before law enforcement arrived on the scene.
