Johnson County Sheriff Jimmy Dorney reports that First Degree Murder charges are anticipated against the son of Julie Richardson who was found shot to death at her Hagarville home by friends on Monday afternoon. Tommy Bowden age 48 is currently being held in Yell County on unrelated charges. Information as to what happened is not being released except to say that it was a domestic situation. Bowden was identified as a suspect immediately after the call of the murder came in and his whereabouts were monitored around the clock until he was taken into custody in Yell County on unrelated charges. He was arrested by Yell County officials and the Arkansas State Police. Bowden will remain in custody in Yell County until formal charges are filed and he is transferred to Johnson County. Sheriff Dorney said he anticipates charges of filing first degree murder charges agains Bowden in the next few days.
