A Booneville woman reports being sexually assaulted inside a Booneville business Wednesday afternoon. Booneville Police report that the man came in to the business and then sexually assaulted the female at knifepoint. The attack occurred at the Wild Trendz Etc in downtown Booneville between 2pm and 3pm. The woman was reported to be inside the business alone, she was taken to the hospital where she was treated and released. Police report they have a person of interest, but no arrests have been made yet. Witness's report seeing a suspicious man walking in the neighborhood Wednesday. The investigation continues by the Booneville Police Department.
