The Ozark Fire Department was called to 118 East College in Ozark to a structure fire Wednesday morning. The call came from a resident of 2nd St. who smelled the smoke and saw flames and called 911. When authorities arrived on the scene, the structure was engulfed in flames. No one was reported to be home at the time of the fire. The home is owned and occupied by Charles and Karen Cagle who were not at home at the time of the fire but were staying at their farm in a trailer house with the grandchildren. The home and contents were a complete loss. A cause is not known at this point, but it would appear the fire started on the north side or rear of the home. The Ozark Fire Department, Ozark Police and Franklin County Authorities responded to the scene of the fire.
