Heavy rains on Wednesday cause multiple accidents in our listening area, none of the accidents reported involved serious injuries.
ASP responded to a crash about 3pm at the 42 mile marker, a single vehicle non-injury accident.
Franklin County authorities investigated 2 separate accidents on I-40:
11am at the 42 mile marker, Sharon Wood of Gentry lost control of the 2009 Chrysler van she was driving when the vehicle hydroplaned while traveling eastbound. The vehicle ran off the road into the median where it came to rest. Only $1500 damage was reported done to the van.
5am at the 28 mile marker, Brian Wilson of Mulberry was driving eastbound win a 2004 Dodge pickup when he lost control of the vehicle as the back end started to fish tail. The pickup ran off the road into the median and collided with several tree's before coming to rest. Extensive damage was done to the truck but Wilson was not injured.
In Sebastian County authorities were called to a crash on Highway 22 east of Bloomer at about 6:30 Wednesday morning.
