The Lavaca School Board accepted the resignation of Superintendent Jared Cleveland Tuesday night when the board met. Cleveland, who has been superintendent of the district for the past 6 years, resigned to take a position with the Arkansas Department of Eductaion. The Lavaca School Board promoted the middle school principal Mr. Steve rose to superintendent. the resignation and promotion will take effect June 30th of this year.
