Injury Accident in Ozark Tuesday

Joe Perry of Clarksville was taken to the hospital in Ozark following a 2 vehicle accident in Ozark Tuesday morning. The accident happened at about 8:30 on Highway 64 in front of the VA Clinic in Ozark. Perry was driving a 1994 Mercury Sable west bound and was preparing to turn right into the bus station, when he changed his mind and attempted to make a left hand turn across the turning lane. At that same time a 2007 Mack truck pulling a trailer was westbound driven by Clifton Poppasan of Lamar. The Poppasan vehicle struck the Perry vehicle in the driver's side door area totaling the Sable and causing about $1K damage to the front of the truck. Perry was wearing a seatbelt and was transported to the hospital in Ozark. The extent of his injuries was not known. Poppasan was not injured in the accident. It was investigated by the Ozark Police Department.
