A Paris woman was injured in a single vehicle accident this morning on Highway 23 south north of Caulksville. Amber Woods age 25, was driving a 2006 Ford F350 southbound when she veered into the northbound lane and then over corrected running off the road causing the vehicle to overturn coming to rest upright after striking a utility pole. As the truck was overturning, Woods was ejected. Woods was transported to St. Edwards Hospital in Fort Smith by Franklin County EMS for treatment of injuries, the extent of injuries is not known at this time. The truck she was driving was totaled in the accident and Woods was not wearing a seat belt. The accident was investigated by Trooper Joey Gilliam with assistance from the Franklin and Logan County Sheriff's Department's. The accident occurred at 8:30am Friday, traffic was block for about an hour as authorities worked the accident, pictures provided by Sheriff Anthony Boen.
