A residential burglary and theft of property was reported at a home on State Highway 23 south Tuesday night. The report was filed by Martha Crumpacker. The report indicates the the suspect(s) kicked in the front door to gain access to the home, once inside the the suspect(s) went to a bedroom where they took some jewelry and cash from the home. A total dollar amount for the property stolen is not available but is over $500. The home is located in the 5800 block of Highway 23 South. The burglary is believed to have occurred sometime between 10:30am and 5pm on Tuesday.
