Bond Set for Ozark Man in Battery Case

Bond was set at $2,500 for 41 year old Anthony Medlock of Ozark who was arrested early Tuesday morning by Franklin County Deputies. Authorities responded to a call early Tuesday morning on Watalula Road of a domestic in progress. At the scene deputies made contact with Medlock who was bleeding from the head who said that he and Catherine Kirby had been in a fight. Medlock said he had been hit in the head with a whiskey bottle multiple times. Franklin County EMS was dispatched and transported Medlock to the hospital in Ozark for treatment of his head injury, he was treated and released from the hospital and then arrested for felony domestic battery 3rd degree. This is a felony due to the fact that it was his second such offense. Catherine Kirby was also arrested at the scene for domestic battery 3rd degree, a misdemeanor charge. The bond hearing was held by Judge Mac McCain.
