A bond of $750,000 was set Tuesday for a 15 year old white male of Ozark, but formal charges have not yet been filed. Prosecuting Attorney David Gibbons said it would probably be sometime next week before charges will be filed as the investigators continue working on the case. Gibbons said the probable cause hearing was a closed door hearing and no one was allowed in the hearing except those directly involved. Gibbons said the identity of the 15 year old is not being released due to the fact that formal charges have not been filed, but he did say that the state plans to charge the 15 year old as an adult which means his identity will be released when charges are filed. The state is considering a 1st degree murder charge. The 15 year old male remains in custoday in connection with the shooting death of his sister on Sunday morning Jan. 15th at the family home on Watalula Road. The judge will appoint a public defender with the next court date of March 1st for plea and arraignment, the hearing will be at the Franklin County courthouse in Ozark. Tuesday's probable cause hearing was held in Russellville.
