Update...authorities have located the vehicle they have been looking for in connection with reports of possible home invasion attempts. According to Investigator Robert Limbocker, the subject has been located and questioned and it seems as though he a door to door salesman selling books and magazines for school aged children. The Sheriff's Department has been in contact the subjects supervisors and have asked that the man leave the area. At this point authorities believe that the man does NOT pose a threat to the public.
Authorities are again looking for a dark skinned, possibly Hispanic male after he approached a residents this morning (Monday) and asked if their children were at home. The incident happened at a home on Timber Ridge Road this morning about 10am and the suspect was dressed in a blue shirt and blue jeans with tennis shoes. The man was driving a small black Toyota truck. The man approached the home and knocked on the door. When the babysitter came to the door the man said he was with the Utility Company and wanted to know if there were school aged children present. The baby sitter did not give the man any information and he left the scene. Authorities are looking for the suspect and suspect vehicle. The description given in this mornings incident matches the suspect and vehicle description given in a similar incident east of Ozark that occurred last week. Authorities ask if you see a small black Toyota driven by a dark skinned male to please call 911.
