Altus Police Chief John Barbour tells KDYN news that authorities are still investigating a residential burglary from Sunday June 20th on Logan St. in Altus. A suspect(s) entered the home and took over $300 worth of old coins. At this point authorities do have a suspect in custody on unrelated charges of Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving on Suspended DL charges. 26 year old Marshall Elmore was arrested on those charges during a traffic stop over the weekend and is being questioned in connection with the burglary.
