An Alma woman was killed and her two children injured in a single vehicle accident Friday morning. The accident occurred at 7am Friday morning at the intersection of State Highway 162 and Mays Branch Road near Kibler. Micah Hogan of Alma age 36 was killed when the 2008 Chevy Tahoe she was a passenger in ran off the left shoulder of SH 162 while traveling westbound, the Tahoe entered a drainage ditch and collided with a bridge pillar. Hogan's son Hunter Hogan age 14 was driving the vehicle and his sister Haley Hogan was a passenger, both were transported to Children's Hospital in Little Rock with extensive injuries and both remain hospitalized at Childrens. All 3 occupants were believed to be wearing their seatbelts when the accident happened.
