ASP, Ozark Police, Franklin County SD, EMS and others responded to an accident at the 37 mile marker of I-40 westbound at 3pm Monday afternoon. Emergency responders report that it was a two vehicle accident with 6 people sustaining injuries. Of the 6 injured, 3 were transported, 2 to Fort Smith and 1 to Ozark. None of the injured were believed to have sustained any life threatening injuries. Arkansas State Police investigated the accident, we have a call in to the trooper who investigated the accident but have not yet received a returned call to get more information on the accident.
