Joshua OConner contacted the Franklin County Sheriff's Department on Tuesday to report the theft of some property from his residence on Cat Holler Road. The theft occurred sometime between about 5:30pm and 7:30pm. It appeared entrance was gained by kicking in the back door of the home, once inside multiple items were taken including lumber, paint, lights and other items being used to remodel the home. The total amount of stolen property is under $1,000.

A theft was also reported on Greenbrier St where Anthony West told authorities that some stereo pieces were stolen from a vehicle in his backyard. West said the vehicle had been parked there for some time now and when he went to get a couple of items from the vehicle to sell to a friend he discovered the items missing. Items taken included a speaker box, 4 speakers and an Logis brand amp. The total value of the stolen property about $300.
