Paul Kendrick and Jordan Bevil were injured in a single vehicle accident on Friday at 12noon on Highway 215 near Byrds Adventure Center north of Ozark. The report shows that Kendrick was driving a 1995 Chevy pickup that was west bound on Highway 215 when he said it felt like something broke and the vehicle shot across the road. The vehicle traveled down a 15 foot embankment as it left the roadway and overturned at least two times coming to rest on it's top. The report shows that Bevil was airlifted to St. Edward's Hospital in Fort Smith with a back injury and Kendrick was taken by Franklin County EMS to the hospital in Ozark. None of the injuries were believed to be life threatening.
