A Monday accident in Atascosa County Texas killed two Crawford County men that were working in the Texas oil fields. Dakota Sabin age 33 of Dyer and Billy Gene Barrett age 29 of Van Buren were killed when the vehicle they were passengers in ran off I-37 near Pleasanton Texas on Monday morning at about 12noon. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 36 year old Shawn Nichols of Van Buren, Nichols was taken to the hospital but did not sustain any life threatening injuries. None of the 3 occupants were wearing seatbelts and were in a GMC Sierra pickup.
