On Monday, the Franklin County Sheriff's Department took 2 separate reports of stolen ATV's. The first report came in at 7am Monday morning from Alyssa Kendricks of south Highway 23. Kendricks reported that the 2008 Yamaha 4 wheeler was sitting underneath a carport and the key was inside the house. The ATV is valued at $8,300. Along with the 4 wheeler, Kendricks reported a 1000 watt Sony amp and 2 12 inch Pioneer subwoofers were taken - valued at $450.
The second report came from Highway 398 near Branch. Tommy Edwards reported that the 4 wheeler was in his barn with the key in it. It is a 2005 Honda Rancher, green in color valued at $2,000.
