Tuesday morning Franklin County authorities were called to a home on Alpine Meadow Drive near Ozark to the report of a calf being shot. A Kathleen Vire reported that when she went to check on her cows she discovered a calf that had been shot. Authorities had been called to the same location on Friday in reference to an argument between Ms. Vire and a neighbor and shot being fired at her dog. There was no report of any animals being injured at that time. The value of the heifer calf is $600.
