Arkansas is celebrating Vietnam Veterans who served in the U.S. Military between November 1, 1955 and May 15, 1975 with a Vietnam War Commemoration Ceremony   scheduled   for 10 a.m. on March 29, 2018 at the Little Rock Capitol Building.   Vietnam Veterans have until   January 15 at 10 a.m. to register online by going to Arkansas Department of Veterans   Affairs website at http://www.veterans.arkansas.gov/ and selecting Yes at the pop up. 

The Johnson, Franklin and Logan County Cooperative Extension Offices will be offering Best Care Trainings coming up on Feb. 10th and March 10th at the Extension Office in Ozark 9am to 2pm.   For more information on these trainings and to register you can phone 963-2360 or 675-2787.

FRIDAY     
     1/19 Blood Drive in Ozark...in the Bloodmobile in the parking lot of CV's Family Foods on Commercial Street from 2pm to 6pm, everyone who donates will get a free long sleeve T-Shirt.


TUESDAY
     1/23 Commodity Issue in Clarksville...at the Johnson County Fairgrounds from 9am to 12noon for eligible individuals and households.   For more information phone the ARVAC Office at 229-4861.


WEDNESDAY
     1/24 St. John's Bible Exhibit...on display at Mercy Hospital in Booneville, 880 W. Main Street 9:30am to 3:30pm.


MONDAY
     1/29 Ozark Football Banquet...6pm at the Ozark Methodist Church Gardner Building, everyone welcome.   Admission $7 which includes full meal.    Players admittd free.

    
WEDNESDAY
     1/31 St. John's Bible Exhibit...on display at Mercy Hospital in Paris, 500 East Academy from 9:30am to 3:30pm.


FEBRUARY

SATURDAY
     2/3 Benefit Dinner and Dance at Subiaco...Dinner from 5pm to 7:30pm at the Subiaco Parish Hall - Fried chicken, sides dring and dessert $9, children 5-12 $5; silent auction 5pm to 8:30pm and Dance from 8pm to 11pm.   Dance tickets $15 single, $30 couple.   All proceeds benefiting Mike Fredericks medical expenses, for more info phone 847-6139.
